Amazing Spider Man and Ghost Recon Future Soldier for PS3.

ASM is decent, not as good as I expected. The camera is really close to Spider Man and it gives me motion sickness every time I play it. It's still fun to play though, even if it draws from the Arkham games a lot.

Ghost Recon is AWESOME. Maybe it's because I like 3rd person shooters but it's one of the most fun games I've played in a really long time. I wish I had a team to play it with (some of the randoms make really stupid decisions lol) but other than that it's great.

Been wanting to pickup Heavy Rain for a while since I started playing some PS3 games finally, saw it for $19.99 earlier on Amazon and pulled the trigger:

So backed up right now on games and the list keeps growing, I had a pretty long period of time where I stopped gaming and have been trying to play through some stuff I missed out on. Made it through Assassins Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations, Saints Row 3, and Uncharted 1 & 2.

I'm hoping to start up Uncharted 3 here soon but haven't had any free time of late, after that Heavy Rain and gonna try playing through Gears of War 2 and 3 coop with a friend on XBL. Not to mention NCAA comes out next week, so many games so little time!

It's on sale at Amazon for $9.99 (PC version) through the 14th of this month. Great deal, game is really fun in the little I've played it.

Sweet. I grew up watching the Attitude Era. So Stone Cold and The Rock were favorites of mine. Already have The Rock's newest bio.

Saw Gamecock2002 found a good deal on a sound bar, so I purchased one also. For the price it sounds pretty good.

First purchase for new PC build. I actually find the heatspreader design fairly asinine, but it's good ram and was cheap ($45 shellshocker)

Video came in the mail Tuesday, but after 3.5 days of no power and being away from home I didn't feel up for it on Tuesday to try it out.

Today, however, was a different story. I'm not at all familiar with the moves, so I probably spent about 10 extra minutes pausing and skipping back. It is a good workout. I was sweating by the end of warm-ups and definitely made use of the water breaks. I didn't make it all the way through (far from it) without stopping, but I feel good and I could tell I was using muscles that I haven't even thought about before. I've never been good about doing cardio workouts on a regular basis, but I feel like this could easily be incorporated into anything whether its 20 minutes every day or to be used as an "off day" from weights. Hell, I could even see double up on the dvd and going for 40 minutes a day...eventually, haha.

I'm not sure which of the exercises he uses in Insanity, but they seem like things I wouldn't mind doing even without the dvd. The ski abs/in-out abs/and oblique pushups were probably my "favorite" thing. And plank punching, lol.

Anyway, I'm glad I bought this as a means to test Insanity. I definitely want to do Insanity within the next 6 months, but its nice to catch a glimpse of what all it entails and exactly how deep you have to dig for the full thing. The only thing holding me back right now is that the program is 60 days and I'm going to be at the beach in September, so that would mess me up towards the end of it. But I also hate waiting until the end of September to try it. Oh well.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
