Anything narrated by David Attenborough is A-OK in my book.

Haven't seen Life yet, may have to pick up the blu-ray. I've been absolutely enamored with Planet Earth since it came out.

Only watched disc 2 (insects and predators) and it has been great so far. Apparently this version is much better than the US version (Oprah narrating)

IMO, it was a steal at Best Buy today for $15 (after the $5 upgrade n save coupon)

Is the insects & predators one the one that has like the zombie ants? I saw a short of that once, but not sure what series it's from and have been trying to find it forever.

Yeah, the BBC shows are much better with Sir David. Oprah is a joke, and Sig. Weaver doesn't do PE justice.

Don't think so...these were in the episode:
                  Darwin’s beetles
                  damselfly
                  Monarch butterflies
                  oogpister beetles
                  bombardier beetles
                  Japanese red bug
                  Dawson’s bees
                  grasscutter ants
                  monarch butterflies

Why gloves lol. If you need it for the grip, then go with chalk.

Can't speak for 55, but if I lift without gloves it tears up my hands, I'll get blisters and big, nasty, craggy, calluses on my palms.

That's too pretty to actually use!!

My son needed a phone and I'll be damned if I pay full price or stay roped into another 2 year agreement. Found a great company on ebay that does refurbed's. This was $62 shipped (also recently got a Samsung Rogue from them for $40 and didn't have to apply a data plan):

Going to the beach soon and I thought might as well get rid of the fear of damaging my phone. Never had such a bulky case before, but it'll come in handy for any rugged activities in the future.
