Im a trick worm fan myself over senkos. Worked fast over grass beds is a killer down here.

The problem i have with wacky rigs is its so easy to lose worms, even with a keeper ring. I'll go through a pack an outing easy when the presentation is working.

On topic, reupped on jeans. Grabbed 5 pair of the Levi 514s and 3 pair 527s. (Only jeans i really like)

Every time you post your purchases (combined with talking with you when we've gamed in the past) I envision music playing in the background straight out of a pickup truck or jeans commercial lol.

I'm skimmed some of the later chapters, but not the whole book. My interest in European history starts to wane once you go back before the American Revolution.

It's a fair cop. No doubt you read the Atkinson trilogy? Would love some recommendations for military history books that are off the beaten path. WWII in particular. Read a lot, always open for more suggestions.

Atkinson's trilogy is amazing. Difficult to imagine a better set of books describing the American experience in North Africa and Europe in WWII. I have hopes that Toll's Pacific Trilogy (the second of which I posted earlier, just came out) will end up equalling Atkinson's (though for the Pacific theater, of course).

I'm a big fan of Antony Beevor, too. He gets criticized as being something of a "celebrity historian," in that his books don't offer much in terms of original research, but his books are very readable and do a great job going in-depth on the topic and offering as complete a picture as possible.

German history and Nazi Germany are two of my absolute favorite topics to read about, so I've got a ton of books on those, too.

I'll have to check him out then. I've always been a "fan" of Rommel, so I've got a lot of books on him (and his)—Patton And Rommel by Showalter and The Armies of Rommel by Forty, to name a few.

David Stahel has a few good books about Barbarossa in the East too which are military-themed.

The first two are something of a Part I and Part II for each other.

New brake pads, rotors, a front axel seal, and something I don't remember. For a grand total of $1200.00 FML

Cars. a joy and horrible burden.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!
