Re: Post your most recent purchase

Just bought a lightsaber from saberforge.com

Because I'm a huge Star Wars nerd and I have disposable income. Plus one of my buddies bought one and it's freaking amazing.

Takes about 3 months to receive it. Will post pics, but here's the hilt I got, just with a purple LED....

    Will eventually purchase this probably....

Interestingly, my 8 year old son and I recently built a lightsaber. He wanted to use an old drain pipe and painted pvc blade... Me being me, told him we can't do it "nornal" lol. This is his, that he made with a little help. A lot of the materials were things I had around the house already, but I did purchase the clear pvc pipe and power button.

We're going to make another customized one since we still have materials.

That's what I was thinking, I'm not a Star Wars guy but it's impressive as hell to put that stuff together from scratch

                      2016 Louisville football tickets.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Yeah now the wait begins, this will be my 3rd season having tickets. Opening my ticket envelope is the closest I get to being a kid at Christmas again.

this thing - I've always been an espresso guy just like my dad but don't take it as seriously or invest nearly as much as some crazy espresso nerds out there. They can be some of the internets biggest s-holes!

This one is a cuisinart my previous one crapped out which was a cheap breville cafe roma. It was fine, just stopped working after about 3 years. This one seems like it will last longer as it's better built and more hardcore. I really like the old-school manual look of it as well it looks great in my kitchen.
