Is yeti over priced........of course........do they work fantastic........ohhhhhhh yessss

Only thing I hate on my yeti 30oz is the lid.

1) Why doesn't it have a closing flap so coffee or whatever while cruising down the ol bumpy hunting camp road doesn't splash my drink everywhere?!?!

2) Pour 2 beers, let foam settle, because if not and you press lid on.......a rocket ship of foam will shoot straight into the air out of the drinking hole.

3) No closing flap + size of cup means be careful when picking up. One slip and your drink will be everywhere. I had this happen and damn near destroyed my Corsair K70 keyboard. Bumped it, tipped over on keyboard..........a zip an a zap later and nothing worked on it. Fully disassembled and air dried, I'm was very lucky got it back to working. Yet again, garbage lid with no closing flap = fail.

Outside of the garbage lid design, I love my Yeti.

I just got the Ozark one from Walmart. I filled it with ice water and drank all the water and the ice has been sitting in it for over 2 hours and hasn't melted at all.

FYI on the Ozarks at Wal-Mart, the 30oz are 10.98 but the 20oz ones are only 7.98 if you want smaller.

As for the ice thing, it's kinda nuts. I have mine sitting next to me now and going on near 4hrs no sweating, and still with ice.

I love this damn thing, if it weren't for all the Yeti talk I'd have never bought the Ozark.

just curious what you guys use them for on a daily basis? I read the Ozark's description and think I'd actually use it more to keep coffee warm than a cold drink cold.

I really only drink water during the day now and don't really care how cold it is. No pop, no sports drink, just water...and coffee.

I use it for both daily, decaf coffee in the morning (I know decaf is weird) and cold drinks in the afternoon.

I would have never even known of these things if it weren't for OS. Then I happened to be strolling in Wal Mart and saw the 20oz & 30oz Ozarks and it was a wrap.

My 30oz Yeti gets a work out.

Morning - 2 cups of coffee
mid morning through mid afternoon - ice water
Home after work - 2 - 12oz beers. If you catch me streaming you will see it lol

I use it every day and just about all day.

I've been on the stainless steel wagon for a month or so too.



Costco had a two pack of those, made by Takeya, 40 Oz, $35. Haven't used another on the go container sense. I drink a ton of water all day. Seriously, best purchase in a while.
