I've finally gotten good at pro/sim and am afraid to move up , I've become more about stats than winning, so I have little personal tasks to accomplish instead of worrying about strategies. Like, it's 2020 and KCP is 4th in scoring with 3 games left so the current task is to get him about 30 shots a game (or more) to see if he can overtake Kyrie for the title

So I went out yesterday and got used copies of Stuntman Ignition and Resistance Fall of Man.

But I think the Stuntman copy I got is actually new. Because the disc looks brand new (no dirt, nothing...which I have never experienced with a used game), the box looks all new, and the booklet is brand new - no finger prints, nothing. Could it be that they can't sell this oldie as a new game, so they sell it as a used one?

Still playing Madden 25, as I'm having more fun with it than ever. MLB 13 the show is also seen some more play time with the upcoming season around the corner.

Shin Megami Tensei IV (3DS)
This is a new style and genre of game for me. I've certainly taken my lumps along the way and definitely have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the experience. I don't know if I'll ever be a big fan of JRPG's, but they are at least a nice alternative to the types of games I typically play.

NBA Live 10 (360)
It has been a while since I've played this game and was feeling nostalgic so I popped it in. I remember now why I enjoyed this game so much in 2009-10. The game is just fun. Yes, it has its shortcomings (forced contact animations, weak post play, no fast break), but the good certainly outweighs the bad. I was using a 2011-12 roster (BiggD) and matched Phoenix up against Houston. And, while the game froze up on me midway through the 3rd quarter, I was having a great time with the game and think I'll continue to play it for a while longer, just to change things up from 2K. For a game that is almost 5 years old, I think it holds up pretty well.

UFC Undisputed 2009 (360)
Almost went with UFC 3 but this game cost me $2, so figured I'd save the money. Man, this was such a great opening effort by THQ. Like NBA Live 10, UFC Undisputed 2009 still holds up in 2014. The striking and ground game are very well done, the commentary is strong and the visuals are passable (obviously rough compared with EA's upcoming game). The CPU is TOUGH in this game, especially when they have a BJJ or wrestling discipline. They will shoot on you and you better be ready for it. On the ground, the CPU will pull off reversals and go for submissions, so you have to be prepared for all of that and can't just spam buttons. The flash KO's are well-balanced. I was knocked out cold (Hendo) by Bisping early in the 2nd round. He caught me flush with a hook. I don't feel cheated either way with this game, so am looking forward to just running more HUM-CPU fights with the impressive roster.

The Walking Dead (Vita)
Man, this game has me hooked! Great writing and the player definitely feels emotionally invested in the characters, which makes the decisions you have to make in the game that much harder to execute because you know that you can't always help everyone. I like that there are consequences and plot twists based on all of your actions. There are some framerate issues with the action sequences. They are noticeable and can take away from the drama of the moment, but I wouldn't consider this a deal-breaker with the game. I'm very-much looking forward to the last two chapters, even though I know some characters I have grown to like will likely not make it through the game's conclusion alive.

I occasionally put in Ghosts just to get mad and quit.

Recently finished The Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls.

It's actually nice beeing behind on gaming a bit.. games are cheap. I want a PS4, but the only games I'm interested in is Battlefield 4 and NFS Rivals. I don't have enough time to dedicate to BF right now so I'm holding out.

At the momen just finish up playing a post season on MLB the show as it will be retired this Tuesday for the new one.

I recently decided to go on a nostalgia run with both Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games on the original Xbox. I finished the first one, now I'm working on the second one.

I also picked up WWE 2K14 today for PS3 as well, so I'll be starting that up pretty soon.
