I just finished Silver Linings Playbook a couple days ago.
Keep in mind I seen the movie first (and loved it), so I'm probably biased when I say I like the movie over the book, but the book was still really, really good.
I was surprised there was as much of a difference between the two as there was, and the book was definitely a little more darker than the movie, which makes sense. Pat's father is probably the biggest example of both of these points.
Anyways, if you've seen the movie, definitely read this as well. It's not just a re-telling of what you've already seen and it's a pretty enjoyable read.
