I recently had the chance to play NBA Elite for several hours as part of a focus test group. For our time and feedback, we got to pick a free game and food and drinks were provided.
This was the first time I've ever focus tested and it a good experience. EA is interested in what you have to say whether it's good or bad. Ouside of filling out surveys at the end, you also get to speak directly to at least one member of the dev team.
Basically every game that's developed at EA Vancouver (NBA Elite, NHL, NBA Jam, Fifa, Fight Night, NFS, etc...) has at least one focus testing session
