Heh, senior year is gonna suck for me. Taking 3 AP courses + applying for college + senior project + (hopeful) editor-in-chief +managing a job will not make for an easy senior year. Oh well at least I got a good enough score on the SAT to not have to worry about that .

Like I said before this is my Senior year, but I'm going to try out for baseball this year.

I've been learning how to pitch the last 3 years and feel as if I can make the team. Any suggestions on how to approach the tryout?

Practice hitting and holding your balance point in front of a mirror. If your pitches are high, hold it a half second longer. If low, push through it a little faster. it's a simple adjustment that will at least let the coaches know you throw strikes. and hustler your *** off

Wow I feel old.

Back in the day when I was high school we didn't have PC's, cell phones, ipods, ipads.

Instead we typed research papers on word processors and type writters.

Instead of googling and yahoo'ng for information, we went to the library using the dewy decimal system and climbed ladders to find books in the library. Then paid 5 cents per a page to xerox stuff that we needed for school.

Instead of ipods, we had cassette player walkmans. And if you were a baller you had a cassette player that also had an FM tuner in it too.

If we wanted to hook up with one of our boys to hang out and we weren't home, we walked to the nearest pay phone and paged his beeper, typed in the pay phone phone number into his beeper for he could call us back at that pay phone.

Instead of itunes, we had buy a blank cassettte tape and record the song off the top 10 on the radio at night time.

Instead of xbox live, mutli-player for us was 4 of us going to somebody house while their grandma or mama was gone and took turns playing Madden on the SNES.

Our Call of Duty "free for all" mode was accidently going into a rival's gang territory wearing the wrong color because we were too busy trying to holla at girls and didn't realize we crossed over until that first bottle went whizzing pass our heads followed by the roar of the tech 9. Instead of yelling "BAMBI" they yelled kill those mofos.

Instead of facebook and myspace we had hang out at the park and basketball court to find girls. Or hang out at the local neighborhood Vienna's restaurant or corner store.

Main you are correct my friend. My first time touching a computer when I was in 1st grade and it was one of those 80s apple computers. I'm right along side you bro. I'm feeling quite old at 32. Man the info kids today get from the internet is lucky. They don't know how lucky they have it.

No doubt. I have a 16 years on you. The best thing I had in the 1st grade was the 64 pack of Crayola Crayons.

Haha glad you join the party. We need to shut down internet for one week to show kids now adays what is was like to do things the hard way.
