    Virus protection question

Alright... When I turn on my wife's laptop, it says the anti virus is on. I can open the Kapersky anti virus and it say it's running and we are protected. Under secutiry Center, it says says the anti virus is off and to turn it on hit okay. I hit okay and it never does anything.

So are we protected or not?

    Thanks!

Yes, don't worry with what windows security is telling you. As long as Kaspersky is running and does its standard up dating and you set it to a scheduled run routine you should be good to go.

Also Brandon, go to windows security and check for updates. You might be running a out dated version could be also causing the issue.

      Start
      Control panel
      Windows Security
      Check for updates

Thanks fellas. Kind of threw me off because I never saw that before and I am always doing the updates for Kapersky. I even ran a full scan which took like 2 hours and it found some small stuff, but nothing major.

          It's Kaspersky...forgot the "s" there, Brandon.

But yeh, perhaps the best security virus protection out there. In my pornography days (thankfully behind me now), Kaspersky blocked everything on my computer...I was afraid to turn it off though because of how easily a virus could enter (experience talking there).

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I have vowed to not visit any "adult" sites on my PC after setting it to factory default!

However I have an old laptop upstairs in my bedroom and it's a mac, which never get viruses
