Happy B-Day!! Aukevin, how was your Wrigley experience by the way?Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Happy Birthday guys!
Hope you have a good one!I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Happy Birthday, Motown, aukevin, UNC_Pete & Block-O
Thanks guys.
Wrigley was great. I got to see Friday's game where the Braves won in the 9th and Saturday's game where they almost came back and won at the end. For Friday I had bought tickets 10 rows behind third base, so pretty much the view you see in the pic below. Then on Saturday I just bought some tickets off the street and they were about 20 rows up from the previous seats, with the exact same seat numbers, so they were great too.
I'm glad I got to see a game at Wrigley and I think I need to start a tradition of going to some away Braves game near my birthday each year.We were in Chicago from Thursday afternoon until after lunch on Sunday. So we got plenty of time to kick around the town and eat at lots of different places. The best places (dessert places of course) were Old Fashioned Donuts down in the southside of Chicago, and then this cupcake place called Molly's Cupcakes North Clarke Street. We ate at a couple pizza places, Gino's East and Lou Malnati's Pizzeria. I definitely liked Lou's better, but I guess I'm not a Chicago style pizza guy because neither place did much for me. Now Portillo's Hot Dogs on Ontario St was great. I also ate a couple really good breakfast/brunch type places called Shokolad in a Ukranian village on West Chicago Ave and breakfast at this place called Nightwood on Halsted St that had these really good donuts.
The morning of the game my wife gave me a Jason Heyward Braves jersey, so I wore it to the game. Here's a pic at the park:Attached Files
