How do you rank the sports you watch on tv?

If I had to make a list of the top 5 sports I enjoy watching on TV (not in person). it would be this:

1) College Football (in a landslide...not even close)
2) College Basketball (I watch the high profile regular season matchups, a lot of the conference tourneys, and never miss a NCAA tournament game)
3) European League Professional Soccer (Fox Soccer Channel is my friend, love the Premier League/UEFA coverage)

That's pretty much all I watch, but since I said "Top 5" I'll add:

4) NFL Football (will catch the occasional Dallas Cowboys game, but I'm usually burned out after Saturday)
5) NHL Hockey (kinda hard to find on TV, but if I'm not doing anything else, I'll check out a hockey game)

That's pretty much it. I have ZERO interest in NBA/NASCAR/Golf/Tennis/LaCrosse and can't force myself to even watch a half inning of MLB. I find the second part of that phrase extremely ironic b/c I dearly love playing The Show. I'm leaving out things like the Olympics and World Cup, since they are only every 4 years.

1. College Football.

5. Everything else: NBA Playoffs, Hockey every now and then, golf, tennis.

I never watch racing, MMA, boxing, or women sports.

7. MLB

I don't watch golf, hockey, tennis or nascar

1. International Soccer - nothing better
2. League Soccer - I was late to the game, but am addicted now
3. College Hockey - more of a regional thing, so it's harder to follow.
4. College Basketball (Tourney Time) - mostly because I have money riding on it
5. NHL - hockey is great
6. College Football - slightly better than NFL because each game means more
7. NFL - my interest here is fading, if they have a lockout next year, they're insane
8. MLB - I'll watch the Twins if they're on and I'm home. And the playoffs.

I'll watch the big golf and tennis tournaments, but I like to play both of these sports more than watch them.

For me it's..

1. MLB
2. College Football
3. NFL Football
4. Xtreme sports like the X-Games or Dew Tour
5. A major tennis tournament

That's about it. No NBA, golf, hockey, soccer, MMA, boxing, on my TV anymore. Maybe a college basketball game if Auburn is playing.

1. College Football (A little surprising but I find I can watch a game between two random teams a lot easier then watching an NFL game that doesn't involve the Bills. There's just an excitement in the air and a passion on the field you don't see much in the pro game)

2. NFL (LOVE the game and really enjoy watching the Bills. I'll watch some games with other teams once in a while. I have a HUGE collection of old games which I watch in the offseason and heck, even during the season too!)

3. MLB (Big Jays fan and will watch as many games as I can. Love watching the playoffs and the atmosphere is usually pretty electric. I don't care much for the Yanks but I admit to rooting against them in the playoffs. )

4. NBA (mainly just the Raptors but I do follow the game and tend to catch the playoffs)

5. Mix of everything else (Hell, sometimes I will even watch golf and find it interesting for a half hour or so)

Man, I forgot about MMA, I may have to stick that at #5.

MMA, College and Pro football are all pretty close for me. MMA is actually closer to #1 I guess. I'd rather watch an MMA title fight over just about anything well, aside from Alabama football. Also, outside of the SEC and Top 10 in college football I'd rather watch the NFL.

Football is #1. Going to games is overrated, for the NFL at least. Now College, it's pretty much #1 whenever...

After that:

2. Any Soccer.
3. Hockey
4. Basketball

i can't break it down which football would go first if i had to pick between watching florida state and the eagles i would flip channels, but both are up there then nba would be tied with boxing and everything else . so

i could watch really any sport except nascar. i actually like watch Xgames or snow boarding and skate boarding.

Umm. Yeah. I threw XGames in there because it's twice a year, throw in the Dew Tour stuff that's on throughout the year and I watch quite a bit of it.
