Do you kill bugs/spiders?

What do you do when you come across a bug in your house? I saw this Reddit article on Digg (yes, the New Digg sucks) and found it to be quite interesting

Personally, I hate every type of insect and spider known to exist. There aren't ever too many bugs in my house, but there are a decent amount of spiders. I will go out of my way to kill every bug that I see. I just can't stand them, especially spiders. Spiders are the #2 thing I hate most, Texas being #1.

Anyways, do you feel bad about killing bugs? Do you capture them and set them free? Or do you slay them?

Funny, I just killed a little gnat or fruit fly that was walking around on my monitor not 5 minutes ago. But yeah, if I find them in my apartment I kill them (if I can, stupid flies) just because they're annoying.

****ing hell yeah. Little bastards. There's a whole outside to go to. They don't need to be all up in my area! I should have a bug graveyard, just to make the little ****ers think twice.

Since I live in Upstate NY, the Bugs are generally small. I will usually let the spiders live as they are not poisonous. When i lived down south and in Hawaii, I killed anything that moved. Those Centipedes in Hawaii still haunt my dreams.

For the love of God!

When I find one with eggs, I pretty much kick the **** out of the spider/ground so none of the egged spiders live. I found that sliding the sole of your shoe on the ground is a good way to kill all the miniscule spiders that fit in the grooves of your shoe

At my old house I would see a cockroach every now and then but, my dog would usually kill them for me so it wasn't that big of a deal. If I see a bug or spider on the wall or something that my dog can't reach then I will kill it myself.

You never get house centipedes up there in NY? We used to get them from time to time in my my mom's old house and I had one in my bathtub last year.
