Another one that should have been so obvious as I've done it my whole life.
I constantly act like I'm playing sports when I'm not. I'll be in the kitchen talking to my wife and without even thinking about it, I'll swing an imaginary bat or pick up a spatula and swing it like a bat. I'll be in my bosses office having a conversation and will act like I'm pitching or am a lefty picking runners off with my best balk move or will throw a little stress ball off the wall and field it like a grounder.
During our work bowling season, I'll shadow like I'm bowling or I'll swing an imaginary golf club for a few days after a round of golf. If there is another guy in the room, I'll grab the stress ball, dribble it like a basketball and cross him over or post him up.
I've done this crap since I was like 5 years old and have never stopped. I don't think I do it as often as I used to, but I still do it pretty often. Even as I'm working sometimes, I'll put down the mouse to think real quick and take a left handed hack and get right back to work.
And the funny part, at least to my wife, is that whenever I act like I throw the ball (whether it's a pitch, a pickoff, etc.), I always catch the ball thrown back.
