No...if one wants to make an entire thread devoted to one thought compared to only a few posts that's up to his/her discretion. It's all a matter of preference

It depends, some stuff deserves its own thread, other stuff not so much.

I typically don't like jumping in on threads that are very large. I never know how far to start reading back and so if a thread is more than 2 pages(I view 40 posts per page), I normally just skip it. Same reason I don't really view the impressions threads, or for that matter, ever even go into the videogame boards.
