I remember Journey came to chicago and was singing during the White Sox world series games and sung at their championship parade.

Last time I saw that was in the NLDS against the Braves. Pretty cool. Perry's got one of the best voices in rock and I grew up listening to a lot of Journey. It was the first concert my wife and I went to.

I think he has an amazing voice but it is better for rock ballets. I will take S Bach or someone like Rose for best voices in rock in my opinion.

The future of the MLB looks pretty good from this cilp...

I'm a lifelong Giants fan. but IMHO, this has more to do with having a couple "underdog" teams duke it out in the finale...

New blood that should bring back some hope for the other less than "usual suspects"...

The fans in SF are certainly living the moment and I'd expect the Rangers crowd will find their way to express themseleves as well...

              Nice!

Well, that's two different types of rock, so let me clarify. In terms of overall voice, I think Perry is one of the best and you'd probably throw him in the arena/soft rock category. Those guys you listed I would more classify as more hard rock and yeah, they are really good. Bach in particular had strong pipes in Skid Row.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing how the crowd in Texas reacts to the moment.

I remember back in 2007 when the Rockies made the WS; EVERYONE was talking about the Rockies and it was so cool to see baseball fever spread across the state. Things cooled in 2008 when CO didn't do so hot but 2009 brought the fans back and this past year was a blast, even though the Rockies fell short.

I definitely see more people getting invested in baseball, and that's a good thing.
