Buying championship?

Do you guys believe in buying championship? I recently picked up MLB2K6 for dirt cheap (and actually enjoy it) and I'm doing a franchise with the Florida Marlins. The team really sucks. I went on free agents and trading and essentially replaced the staff and most the players. The Marlins are now a World Series caliber team and I have 4 A+ power sluggers. But back to the topic, would you or would you not do it if money wasn't a problem?

This feels like this thread is in the wrong place. OS Hood is more of things not related to games.

If money isn't a problem, then I say buy the best players (that fit your system).

This isn't game related, I was just using that as an example. I think that why people dislike the Yankees, Heat, and any other team that buy the best athletes money can buy. I've heard Jerry Jones would do it if the cap was raised from the NFL.

Actually, that is what people would assume JJ would do.

Trust me, I am no Cowboys fan, but he did go on record, and say when the cap is gone for next year (even if there is football next year), he would not do that, and would still operate in the confines like there was one.

But that was before the disappointing season this year they are having. So who really knows.

Pretty much what the big market teams do in all sports. Pretty much the reason I hate them all, while the smaller market teams usually get **** on. I am for Sports Socialism.
