Yes, in a way... but the difference that I wanted to point out is the people in Jackass are literally stupid, as in they are attempting to succeed in failing. There is nothing bona fide about it. However, we tend to call people stupid if any one of these people doing these dangerous stunts messes up. If they are nail it however, they are awesome. I tend to think they are both insanely awesome and awesomely insane, unless they absolutely can't do it but try it anyway. Then they're insanely stupid and stupidly insane.
