Re: Best state to live in?
Probably doesn't matter so long as you are surrounded by friends/family and you have a job you like.

I'd focus on Wyoming and go from there. If it seems like a place you'd enjoy living after you research I'd go for it. Having a job lined up is a huge positive for an area.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Re: Best state to live in?
Go where you have a job lined up at and an area that has stuff in it that you like to do. I mean places where low unemployment can be a little misleading. I mean Vermont as a whole has one of the lowest unemployment rates of any state in the country.
But then again the state population is relatvely small as well. I mean you have more people living in Chicago then you have living in this state. If you want a quiet state then move to the following:
Vermont
New Hampshire
Maine
Idaho
ND
SD
Wyoming

Re: Best state to live in?
If you can stand winter, Minnesota is A-OK.
I like being able to drive 15 miles and be in the middle of the woods or on a lake, but still have stuff to do around town.
No sales tax on food or clothing. But the state income tax is a tad high. However, that helps our school system consistently stay among the best in the country.
We also boast some of the highest voter turnout and the populace tends to be highly involved in their communities.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 11-22-2010, 03:17 PM.Comment

Re: Best state to live in?
I don't mind North Alabama that much. Doesn't get so cold that snow gets in the way. You get to see the fall colors. Just far enough away from the coast that hurricanes only bring a day or two of rain, but close enough to head down for weekend trips to the beach. No earthquakes. Close enough to Atlanta and Nashville if you want to see pro football or baseball games without having to live in a town with all that traffic. Great football, but if we could just do something about the Bama fans.
