Does anyone here have an online business?

If so I'm wondering how you built your website?
What I'm going to be doing is selling sports supplements online (protein,creatine,etc..)
I may be setting this site up with godaddy.com but I'm wondering if there is any other options out there that I may not know of other than building the site myself which would be impossible for me to do, lol
The site is all internet sales so of course I would need a secure shopping cart, and the ability to accept credit cards.
Any help/info would be appreciated as this is the final step for me.

Your best bet is to go with a web design company.

My gf set up here own website's using google. If you know anything about html codes you should be able to do it. She basically figured out everything own her own without taking any classes or professional help.

She also uses facebook as a way to help build a customer base. Which I think is a great idea.

Here you go. The first is for little girls clothing (pillow case dresses, tu tu's, hair bows, etc) and the second is for reborn dolls.

          Here's one of her FB's too http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001806423529

One bit of advice on FB is that you probably want to set up your business page like a normal page if at all possible. The reason being is because if someone comments on one of you pics it doesn't email or give you any sort of notification like a normal page does. There's a ton of complaints so they change it in the future but, I wouldn't hold my breath.

She gets that a lot but, she makes a killing off of them. Most of the sell for $300-400 but, she has sold some in the $800-900 range. She also got mad at me once because she was bringing one over to show her Mother and as she was driving I grabbed one and started playing with it in the front seat like it was a real baby. Good times.

I don't know if you noticed or not but, if you scroll to the bottom of the web page and click on google sites then you can start your page from there. If anything it my be a good way to practice.
