I love Coast to Coast. I don't listen anymore because I'm not up that late and don't know of another way to listen to a rerun or anything.

I've tried the Ticket, but I prefer The Fan. With their last lineup change I only really listen starting at 2 when Richie and Greggo are on. I really enjoy Gavin Dawson, but he moved to 7-10 and is hardly ever on since they have so many live broadcasts. Talent wasted.

I just recently found out the site I used to listen to him on started working again. I hadn't listened in about 5 months. I don't think he is going to retire though.

That sucks for you. The Stern Show is a shell of it's former self, just not that great anymore.

Hopefully they get someone back into the Jackie chair (I would like Artie back, but that might not happen) and they need to bring Richard and Sal back on the show more, they pretty much have disappeared.

Did you happen to be listening to the fan today at 10? Some guy filled in for Newy and I was dumbfounded on how this guy made a career in sports radio.

Caller: what do you think about he heat and cavaliers game tonight?
Fill in: I think it's interesting because Lebron used to play for the Cavaliers.
        /call

Fill in: How do you guys feel about Dirk Nowitzki?
        Caller: He's good. You suck.

What are the best shows on The Ticket? I want to start listening since they are the leader of sports radio in the DFW area.

I used to listen to only local (waco) shows and national, ESPN/Dan Patrick... started listening to The Fan about a year ago. I hear the Ticket is great though.

I actually disagree, I think that Howard is good now as it ever has been. Sure they do not do the skits anymore but I love listening to Howard, not Artie or Jackie. I honestly did not like Artie too much, His personal stories were either about Heroin or him being a Stand up comic(a mildly successful one before Howard) .

Either way, I do not see him coming back to Sirius as the would have announced it by now( Stern fans who have not made the leap to Sirius are not going to now before X-Mas). Howard Stern is one of the best interviewers in the media today, I think he gets a show on TV.

                    I'm a podcast guy.

How about Car Talk? Its a great show and really funny and informative too

Other podcasts I listen to are PTI (no cable, and the only show I actually miss without it), Dave Ramsey, and a few other NPR podcasts.

If you can play them in your car (fm transmitter will always work), check out the podcast directory in itunes, there are a ton of good podcasts some can be very specific to your interests.

The Morning Musers 6-10. They are funny as hell and they even talk some sports occasionally. The Great Gordo is the star of the show.
