Let's say that OS had a time capsule where we could each put an item into. Obviously it will be big enough for all of us, but let's still pretend it's small in a way that like, for instance, we can't put a car in there. It will have maybe a 50 year lock, and you want this to be opened and seen by the new people on OS so that people either knew something about you, maybe about what life was like back then, or just something that you know will affect them in some way.
What would you put in this time capsule?
I'm still on the fence, but I would likely put in my DVD copy of United 93. It doesn't tie back to me that much but so far I haven't really done anything quite that accomplishing in life where, say, I would put in a newspaper with my name all over it. I can imagine that this DVD is as representative of the real thing as they're going to be able to experience (aside from YouTube videos and the like), and 9/11 was obviously such a damaging day to this country which I can relate to that I'd like them to tie it in, just in case they experience something devastating as well.
