Which Do You Prefer: Offense or Defense?

Curious to find out what does OS prefer more, Offense or Defense, especially in Football and Basketball and I guess Baseball and Hockey, although I'll admit I don't have the slightest clue as to what constitutes Defense in either of those 2 Sports LOL.

But yea....which do you prefer?

In football, defense. As an OSU fan I'm used to having great Defense, and a serviceable offense. If it was the other way around, I highly doubt OSU would be as successful as they've been.

Depends. My dad was an ex-linebacker and he taught me football from a defensive point of view. But over time, I fell in love with offenses. In my opinion, I'm pretty damn knowledgeable of the Spread, and I know the Tony Franklin System-like offenses inside and out (Oregon, Oklahoma State). So much so that sometimes I can predict plays for the Ducks.

In the NFL, offenses are so vanilla so it's better to watch the defenses.

In baseball, well, I'm an LSU fan so I was born and raised on Gorilla Ball that won 5 championships in 10 years, so there's no question about that.

Over the last couple of years I switched to liking to play defense more than offense. Which led me to choosing to kick if I win a coin toss in Madden. I just feel that an Interception or a big hit is alot more satisfying than throwing a touchdown or running for 60 yards.

I'm an offensive guy but I always kick first. I love getting the ball at the beginning of the third.

Defense in football, defense and small ball in baseball, and 60 minutes of hell in basketball.

Offense. In real life, I prefer defense for nearly every sport I play (though I get amped for the offensive component when it comes into play). I guess games still have yet to capture that essence that makes defense so great in sports.

EDIT: Whoops, not sure why I assumed this was for video games. Well aside from pitching in baseball, I always see defense as just an "offense preventer," so I'm not paying as much attention to it. Therefore most of my focus sides toward offense... unless I'm playing defense myself, of course.
