My little brother named his 2 dogs Crash and Nuke (from Bull Durham), I thought that was pretty cool.

I don't know why, but this sttement just made me remember something from back when I was in high school. I was walking down a side street near my house and some little kid comes over and starts talking to me about his dogs in the yard next to where I was standing. He said their names were browny head and browny p head. I don't know if he was serious nor do I know what the dogs looked like since the yard was surrounded by a solid fence.

Anyways, lots of good suggestions in this thread already. My relatives had a couple boxers, though they had to give both away because they turned out to be to high strung. The first was named Star and the second was named Sadie. However, Sadie (who they only had for a few weeks) was more commonly called Satan Sadie because she apparently had a bad termperment and was very destructive.

Female: Layla or Laila, Envy, Eden, Regal
Male: Lennox, Judge, Tyke, Tyson, Jeeves

We had a unique approach with our puppy, a English Springer Spaniel.

The breeders called her Puzzle because her fur looked like a jigsaw puzzle. They called her brother(who they still have) Cherrio because he fur had little Cheerio's around his fur.

You can be creative with the name like Tyson or go with something that goes with the body or fur shape or outline.

Everyone loves our name because it's unique.

Since you are from Texas and the dog is a boxer, you could name him "George" after George Foreman, though that is a pretty generic name. Too bad Foreman doesn't roll off the tongue.
