Re: Off Topic 2011
I'm not that young (22): it's just that I grew up in the 90's. I remember when MJ was a Bull, I was a Bulls fan. I followed him to Washington. Same with Hasek in Buffalo. I tended to stick with players until they retired, and then I stuck on to those teams.Rose City 'Til I Die

Re: Off Topic 2011
Wait Wyatt isn't a Red Sox fan anymore? Gee 5 games? That's pretty fast to jump off a bandwagon by baseball standards.
If anyone wants to jump on the Marlins bandwagon at any point go ahead our fan base might doubleSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
The sporting goods store opening at the mall just called me back after my interview...they offered me the job, but it was a seasonal position with no guarantee I'll get put on permanently, and they were offering me $.40 less an hour than what I make now. I'll probably be working the same amount regardless of where I am when I go back to school, so it wouldn't make sense to take less money an hour. And as dysfunctional as my current job is, it's not a difficult job, I like most of the people there, and they're really flexible with hours and stuff, so it's not the end of the world. I was hoping to get a job at that place, but it could've been a worse situation for me anyway.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Remember when JJ was the one getting ragged on for multiple teams?
As for me, I was always a Detroit fan, and only liked Jordan during the 90s (same with D. Rose, but it's not blind hate for the Bulls anymore). I also took up the Magic/Bucs cause the other half of my family live down there.
My college teams is where it gets tricky.
I always loved Michigan, no matter what. The 2000 Championship game just happened to be the first college basktball game I watched, and that became the only thing I cared for at MSU.
As for Cincy, I liked them since I was 10, my brother going there just made me pay attention more.
This doesn't even factor in UF (which would have been my #2 choice for school if I had the means to go to any school).Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan
