Well, technically you're correct. But "biological" family is always what I assumed they were...so it's an old habit.

Apparently the only "biological" about my biological family is my mother's relationship to me.

I guess my mom had some issues , my 2 older half siblings lived with their dad , and I was placed with my grandmother. don't know what happened to my younger sibling...or if its the same dad even.

I'd like to investigate further, but it seems my whole family had a falling out...my "new/old uncle" said that they both had a crazy childhood, and didn't talk much to the grandparents.

So check this out...I'm adopted, and found someone with my biological last name on facebook.

Turns out he is my uncle. He and my mom were both adopted at birth by my biological grandparents. I have 2 half-siblings, I was the third of at least 4 children my mom had...maybe more. Apparently my uncle has only spoken with my mom once in the late 80s and once more in 2002... but still cool info to know.

That's great to know and i'm sure you'll probably investigate more as time goes on.


So, tragedy befell my household last night. It turns out the pipe from one of the bathtubs has been leaking or something and it's gone through the walls creating a water bulge from the inside of the wall and water dripping down said wall downstairs. Don't know for sure if that's the case but i've got some people coming over to look at it.

My family and I are planning to move this spring and this is the worst thing that could happen. I'm hoping insurance can cover this or at the very least this doesn't cost an arm and a leg to fix.

In other news.....Didja know Huey Lewis had the biggest "package" in rock music during the '80s? I heard an entertainment segment on the radio and according to a famous groupie from the '80s he had "the power of love" if you get my drift.

I miss MD Code Red. For some effing dumb reason, they aren't sold around here anymore. Or at least as far as I know they aren't.

If I ever find some again, I'll cry delicious tears of joy.

Late to the code red conversation but I get 12 packs of it all the time. I seriously think my family is the only reason its still in my area. My mom buys as many cases as she can get on sale. She even made them order her a special order when they stopped carrying it. Because of that, they carry it again so no worries for me. Funny how the rest of the country seems to be screwed.
