Yeah, background processes can really slow the PC down. Try rebooting if you haven't done so in a long time.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

That one's not running, no.
Just rebooted last night after it was dying slow. I don't know, must be some stuff I have no idea about that's running. Is there some sort of program I can DL to clear them out?Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
So, I had this girl over last night. Nothing spectacular, just watch some movies, made out for a bit and chilled. I didn't really push my cards 'cause I wasn't that worried about landing a Royal Flush, but she kept putting her cards on the table and then would take the table away. Anyway, that's not why I'm here. So, time for her to leave. She says the "well, its time for me to leave" line, which is standard. Usually, that's when they start putting their shoes on, collecting themselves, find their keys, check their cell, etc. Not this girl. She just sits and stares at me for like five minutes. Awkward as ****. So, I take the initiative and stand the **** up and wait for her put her shoes on. When she does that, she stands up and...just stands there staring at me. Eventually I managed to corral her out of the house and to her car, but seriously the whole last 10 minutes was probably the most awkward I have ever been.

Yeah, definitely testing the waters to try and see what you're going to do.
She probably got in the car and immediately texted her friends wondering why you didn't do anything.Comment

Actually, There should be multiple svchost.exe's running(I did spell it wrong in my last post, so maybe that's why). Check again under processes to be sure.

Guess I should just run MalwareBytes or somethingComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
So, my Honda has been acting up lately. Once it warms up, the throttle continues to fluctuate up and down. It's going between 1k rpms and 1.5-2k rpms. I decide to replace the throttle position sensor which costs $50.
It's located on the back of the intake and is held in by ****ing rivet screws. The only way to get them out was to take a dremmel tool with a grinder.. grind off the heads of the screws and then take a pair of pliers and take them out. Luckily, they gave me a few screws with the sensor.
I can't believe they would do something so stupid. I tried just taking a wood chisel and hammer ahold of the screws, but I was afraid I would crack the intake.. then I remembered we had a dremmel in the shop.
The guy that designed it like that needs his *** beat.. lolComment
