Snow day again tomorrow!

I don't even live in the south, just the most rural, hilly part of Indiana. I love this.

I miss having snow days.

I remember waking up real early or staying up late, turning on the news, and feeling the anticipation as I waited for my school to show up on the ticker.

For sure haha, good times. My schools superintendent was real prick though, so there where plenty of times when every other school in the are would be closed and we'd still have to go.

My superintendent was a doucherino too. I remember the one day my senior year, there was no way we should've been there...all the kids that didn't live directly in town (there was a lot) couldn't make it in because the roads were so bad, but for some reason they insisted we come. This one girl apparently wrecked her car, and she storms in the school and rips our superintendent a new one. One of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I know the feeling. It was rare for my school to be closed so thats why it was so special seeing my school on the ticker lol.

I spent a lot of mornings watching the ticker as it went through the alphabet and when it hit the "O's" I knew it was over. My school was Norwood, and we were the last school to start with a N.

There were a lot of times I just said **** it and didn't go. I lived out in the country, so driving on crapy unplowed icy roads, covered with inches of snow in my honda with bald tires and bad brakes wasn't exactly the safest or smartest thing in the world to do.
