I hate bars that have cover charges. Unfortunately it's usually the better (or I should say more popular) ones that do.
I went out to some nightclubs for the first time in ages a few weeks back and realised real quick that I really haven't missed it. Nightclubs suck big time.
We went to one place and it was deserted yet the drinks were cheap and music was good. We walk 3 doors up to go to another club where it was $9 for a beer and music sucked yet there was attractive women there so the place was packed.
If I want to drink I'd much rather just do it at home with Mrs or over at a friends house or the occasional visit to a pub rather than a nightclub. Guess I'm getting old....Last edited by Jonesy; 07-18-2011, 12:28 AM.Comment
