I went to the 3D movie instead of watch the WWC...
3D is pretty cool, then it gets "normal" and it's not as cool as it was before. It's a gimmick in every sense of the word. And as far as I know, there's only one.

The thing I don't like about 3D movies is that you have to deal with the predefined zoom/perspective in all the scenes... I like to catch details in the background and surroundings of the characters but everything other than the subject of the shot is blurred to hell in a 3D movie. Ah well.Comment

Yeah, I guess that's kind of the point, to pop out the main subjects. Too bad the rest suffers.
Maybe because it was Transformers, but the same gravel/sparks/wreckage flying out at me got old after the first 5 times it happened.
Also, I don't know if it was because the theatre I was in or what, but at some points they'd have text in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. You know, like "LOCATION: Washington, DC, United States" or whatever. But it was cut off a bit. I don't know if that's because it was a 3D movie or just because of the theatre being zoomed in or something. Kinda annoying, didn't matter much in Transformers but other movies it could.
Speaking of Transformers, I thought it was pretty good. 1st one I really liked, 2nd was terrible, this one was a good reversion back to being good.
