Don't even feel like stepping foot into the mess that is the NCAA Football Forums so I'll just ask the regulars here who have the game: Is it worth getting for someone who hasn't played a Football game in 2-3 years?

Google NY was a while ago. They declined a technical interview. We didn't match up with what we both wanted. They wanted a SE to test, I want to code features.

The current one is a different NY firm. LinkedIn, I don't know what you do for me, but whatever it is, I enjoy it.

No worries gentlemen, I have a very heavy feeling that I just blew it. Really not feeling confident about my performance. I looked like a slightly more capable toddler at coding.

The worst thing of all: I feel like I wasted their time. That's a huge downer.

Then again... I did arrive at an acceptable answer for both major algorithmic questions. I also did it in less than the time allotted (however, it's probable that the interviewer cut the questions down as I failed to be able to think). I also know my best defense mechanism is to focus on the negative, that way I don't get let down if the next answer is no, and it's always a happy surprise if the next answer is yes.

I have an awful feeling like I'm going to be left behind here while my fiance goes off to a big city, makes a ton of money because she's super intelligent, while I'm here, making chicken scratch, because I'm purely average. Sigh.

Also, I think my sugar crash is impending. But I'm starving, and I feel like Chick-Fil-A, so DAMMIT, I'm gonna go get myself some Chick-Fil-A, dammit.

that. You gotta be doing something right to even get that far in this economy.

If your Mrs makes it big she can just be your sugar mama and you can sit around doing important stuff like Ncaa and chatting on OS OT.

I seriously could never do that type of job. You wrote the word 'algorithmic' and my eye's glassed over and I passed out. My brain just does not compute mathematics over say a 7th grade level very well.

I haven't played a football game in about 5 years and I would say yes. All I've played so far is a couple Road to Glory games (I hate my high school team) and a couple "play now" games.

Yeah, you guys are right. I just know how I deal with failure and even not performing as well as I should, and it's not pretty. My mind gets pretty toxic.
