Just to update you all on the situation. The cops believe the weapon used in the stabbing was a screwdriver. A piece of the object used is stuck in her spinal area. What he used caused infections to some of the wounds. She was being prepped for surgery when I arrived at the hospital.
The cops have yet to find the weapon used and could only impound his car. They have yet to obtain a search warrant to look in the car. He stole her phone after the attack and the phone was in the backseat just sitting there. The fact that they can't search the car pisses me off more then words can describe.
Another thing is my cousins boyfriend who she had dropped off before returning home has yet to visit or call the hospital. If that prick even shows his face around my family again he will be sorry. He knew this 33 year old man was stalking my 21 year old cousin. Why is he having her drop him off and going home alone at 2am?
The guy who did it is set for a bail hearing this afternoon. From what my uncle has gathered the guy may walk out of jail today. He comes from a very powerful and rich family in Rhode Island.

Far as the boyfriend.........who knows, maybe his car is in the shop or maybe he was drunk........So I wouldn't blame him until I got the full story of why she dropped him off and went home alone.Comment

Let's hope the power and influence of this guy's family doesn't lead to him getting away with this but I have a bad feeling about that aspect already. as for your cousin's BF i'd hold off on judgment just now. As madskillz said there could be reasons for why he had her drop him home.
As for him not being at the hospital or even calling that's a little less defensible though if I were in his shoes i'd definitely have some guilt running through my veins over this.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
