Going from NCAA's menus to Madden's is always upsetting.

That bothers me, too. I don't want Madden and NCAA to be the same, but at least give us the same menu and playcalling system, as well as kicking meter (I prefer the NCAA stick kicking).

Hmm... somehow, I didn't even know this forum was here!

Anyways, yeah, I'm disappointed I'm not going to be able to speculate or detail ideas here anymore. On the other hand, if you liked what ideas I had, it's not wishlist anymore, it's proposed design.

Well, it will be for M13... I'm really too late in the cycle to have any meaningful impact on the design for M12. I'll be spending most of the rest of this cycle putting polish on tuning aspects of the game... basically small assignments that allow me to learn the tools of the trade.

That said, I'm not going anywhere I've still gotta get my MLB The Show sliders and complain about SvR not going anywhere year after year.

In my NBA 2K association, I lose Al Jefferson and Paul Milsap for the season in the Western Conference Semis. #Frick

In my Suns Association I lost Robin Lopez at the end of the season. I ended up being the 4th seed in the First Round and faced the Lakers. After the first three games I had a 2-1 lead but, in Game 4 I lost Vince Carter for 2-4 weeks and lost two in a row. Then in Game 6 I lost Mickael Pietrus (who was starting in VC's spot) and lost that game also which sent me home

Through nine games of season two, I have yet to have a single injury but, I know they're coming.

I preferred Madden's new meter, but they totally dropped the ball since the speed of the meter wasn't determined by the kicker's attributes.

Actually that isn't a new meter, they had that meter once before years ago. I hate it, it is so easy even a Cave Man can kick a 50 yard FG with it.

I rather have NCAA meter.

I've never understood how the new meter worked with regard to separating good kickers from bad kickers, but in my online franchise the only field goal I've missed with Dave Buehler was the first one I kicked.

I liked the old kick meter better, though that was also too easy. They ought to incorporate more timing into the swing of the stick, a la a golf game or APF2K8 did, IMO.

I've actually missed a few kicks this year on NCAA for the first time. I've been using a set of sliders that had user FG power at 5, and user FG accuracy at 30 (I think his set was for 25 but I bumped it slightly because I was missing a lot). I think it's really cool that the meter isn't just "flick stick down, flick stick up". Doing angled kicks I actually have to swing upward in that direction in addition to aiming that way.

edit: an interesting twist would be if you could hold the L or R trigger to make the ball draw or fade, golf style

I just heard that my aunt who's in her 60s fell down a flight of stairs while at work. Apparently the steps were slippery and she fall down on the back of her head. Luckily she's okay and just has a fair amount of bruising as it could've been a lot worse.

Well originally, I thought their idea was that the speed of the meter is determined by your kickers kick accuracy rating. This way it would be much more difficult to kick a FG with a kicker that has terrible accuracy and the KA rating would actually mean something again. But as it is now, it's basically just the same as last year's only you press A and it's 3 clicks.

On another note.....

Pretend this is me, and instead of green, the color is blue.



I'll let you guys figure out what that means.

I just got big dogged on eBay.

I was looking for a replacement bag for my friend since it's pretty much my fault his got stolen, and I found one that was $12.00 with $7.00 in shipping, but there was a "Or Best Offer" option. I offer $9.00, he accepts, but when I go to pay for the sale, I see that the shipping has been increased to $10.00, meaning the whole offer process was pointless because I paid the same price anyway. Damn swindlers.
