Actually the humidity here has gone way down since last week so it's actually pretty comfortable. I'm still in the midst of moving some small stuff around actually.

I learned a couple moves back that it's best to pay someone. I pay $60/hour and they usually finish in 2 hours. Totally worth it to me rather than sweating my *** off and being pissed at the same time lol

We don't rotate classes here until high school i don't think unless it's changed in the last few years. What was your setup like at highschool?

At my school it was

9am til 11am - 3 classes
11am 40 min break
more classes til 1pm then 40 min break
Then classes through to the finish at 3pm

Do you guys do something similar?

Similar but longer.

Basically 8AM - 2:45PM
Lunch period was about 25 minutes and study hall was about 25 minutes.

We started HS at 7:20 and ended at 1:47.

Really?! Those seem like unusual hours. It would suck having to be there so early but having the whole afternoon free would have been awesome!!

Rotate classes as in....separate teachers for different subjects? I started that in 7th grade.

We could leave school if we had a "study" period, and the second half of my senior year I had 4 study periods, out of a total of seven classes...I turned two into independent studies (easy A's) and used the other two as free periods, so my Tuesday's were just from 7:20 util 10:36 and then I got to go home.

I also had it so my free periods were 5th/6th, and since 5th was when lunch was planned, I had pretty much a two hour lunch period free.

Wow that's a solid set-up for high school. I didn't get a schedule like that until college.

We went from 7:20 to 2:20 with a 30 minute lunch break. Unfortunately for all 4 years of high school I managed to get 1st lunch (out of 3), which started at 10:20. I was never hungry during lunch, but I had to force myself to eat because we couldn't eat in class. I always felt miserable afterward.

Yeah, it was hands down the best schedule I ever could have had.

I remember my guidance counsler called me into her office at the start of the second half and our conversation went something like this:

Her - "So, you have three classes...and four studies...do you know what that means?"
Me - "That I have an awesome final semester of high school?"
Her - "Yes, but it also means you're not a full time student which is not a good thing."
Me - "Oh. Well. What if I make two independent studies, do those count?"
Her - "There's really no other classes you want to take?"
Me - "No, this school kinda sucks and I already took the good classes."
Her - "Okay, get two independent studies."


Those two classes turned out to be, basically, being a teacher's assistant for my favorite teacher, which meant I sat there and graded tests, or did my homework, during that period and the other was with my Journalism teacher so I sat there and bothered the people in his class.
