I think we should get Dr. Van Nostrand to take a look at it.

I don't know if it's the same for 360 as it is for a PC but I think it depends on if you get wireless N or wireless G. I have wireless N for my PC and if I remember right it was about $50. G would be cheaper but slower.

              This? http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox360/Ac...workingAdapter

On the other hand, there is definitely a way to connect your Xbox 360 ethernet cable directly to a computer or laptop that is already wireless internet enabled. The exact way to set it up in the software is beyond me.

Thanks, yeah I just looked it up. Sheesh so much money for a stupid adapter. Makes me wish I waited and bought one of the newer models. Oh well, it's not important right now though I'll have to buy one in a month or two.

                Thanks again.

I've been trying to narrow down my college choices and Miami is still my #1 choice obviously, but I've been looking into schools that are known to have good architecture programs and I saw a lot of California, Virginia, and Texas schools.

Honestly location is a big thing for me and I really do not want to go to college in Texas or Virginia, so that leaves me with Miami or some schools in California. That would be a hue move. For one I have never been west of the Nashville, but I'd love to be near the coast which Berkeley is.

Anyone knowledgeable out there about architectural schools think Berkeley and Miami are good choices for someone's top 2?

I don't know my exact GPA, but it's probably around a 3.7 and my ACT was a 29(got 32 in math), but I am going to be taking it at least one more time this winter before I graduate to try and get in the 30's.

Miami sends me all sorts of things in mail nearly every week, but no school west of Missouri has sent me anything. Most of my mail comes from Kentucky, Miami, Butler, and U of Chicago.

Out of all the schools I've looked into Miami is easily the hardest to get into. I'm really not sure if I qualify enough for them, so I really want to look into good schools to go to if Miami does not work out and from what I've read, which is not much, the University of Cal at Berkeley is actually a good school in architecture and is in a location I'd really love.

You could also buy this. It gives you a hard wired connection through the power lines in your home. You plug one in by the router and one by your 360 and you connect an ethernet cable to each as well. They seem to work pretty well.

Also, don't get too excited about mail. Unless it's actually offering something, it's probably just auto-mail from having decent test scores and checking 'yes' on a standardized test bubble asking if it is okay for colleges to contact you.

You look like a decent candidate for Miami, though.

I am not getting too excited about mail. I think it's cool and all, but it doesn't guarantee much and thousands of other people get them too. I realize all of that.

And like I've said I haven't looked into it much and I didn't mean to word it like I had heard Miami was tougher than Cal at Berkeley, so that was my mistake. I just want to know if those are good schools to go for architecture which if they are tough like you have me thinking, then I'm assuming so. I want to have schools that are tough to get into be my top choices because I feel that is a good indicator of a good education.

Of course this is all new to me and honestly is overwhelming so I'm going to be wrong about a lot and will be learning a lot the whole process.
