I didn't like high school or college. I went to ITT Tech though, and it was weird. I didn't realize the classes would be 5 hours or more, I pretty much just signed up with the first school to contact me that offered an entrance exam in lieu of SAT or ACT. When I started I was the youngest person in the whole school, some people were quite old, 40s, 50s, even a couple guys in their 60s. The length of the classes was my downfall, along with the fact that they didn't teach what my recruiter said they would.

Re: Off Topic 2011
For college I did the guarenteed transfer from community college to a four-year since I was paying for it myself and couldn't afford not to work (which four year classes aren't scheduled very work friendly). I will say that I enjoyed my time, but I felt like I missed a lot because I had to work and couldn't enjoy being just a student like the majority of my class-mates at the university. It went by way too fast, but who cares I'm making bank now.

Add up a really long list of numbers. One of the digits in the total is off by 3.

Someone I know spent $15 more than they wanted on gas because they were distracted watching the TV at the pump.
I've always felt like it was exactly what GIGGAS' post above is saying.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Thanks Marino. I just talked to my dad and he said they've got a little flooding but it's not too bad.

Re: Off Topic 2011
After dropping almost $500 on a new starter on Wednesday my truck is back in the shop again today. It's some kind of electrical gremlin cause they can't find the problem yet. The guy said that they can't get the truck to fail yet and they started late and won't be able to get back to it till Monday. I'm hoping it's a ignition switch or coil or something like that. I hate not having my truck and having to rely on others for my transportation. Looks like I'll be putting in a lot of time on the NCAA 12 working on my New Mexico State dynasty.
When I graduate from ITT in December I'll be 35, I got classes with fresh from high school kids to people that are my folks age. Age in college don't mean a damned thing, people that worry about the public's perception of them are wasting time and energy.Last edited by Bighoff; 08-05-2011, 06:13 PM.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. Usually it can be narowed down by using a computer. My dad bought a $100 program and cord that hooks to the CPU in the car and to a laptop by USB. It works wonders when my check engine light comes on, randomly. I figure a shop would have something similar for all makes and models. Either way, good luck getting it straightened out.Comment

Watching people try to feed a Great White shark tuna till it just won't eat anymore is kinda cool. Even though Shark Week is a lot of old footage I still love it. I can't watch anything on sharks with my feet hanging over the chair I've always got to have them tucked under me.
The running back for NM State is a monster, I'm going to make this guy the rushing champ this season. Already broke the school single game rushing mark with 324 against San Jose State.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life.
