Yep......for as much hate as Will Smith got, at least he was able to sell albums successfully without a single curse word on it. If you tracks are laced heavy with curse words just to make up for the lack of words in your sentences, then you have problems.

Well, I just got good news.

As most of you know from my livetweeting, I am "training" to be a referee so I won't totally be broke during school. Well, usually first year referees are stuck doing freshman/JV games. Well I just got a call informing me that I am going to be clock operating for 3 Varsity Jamboree games, which is $120 from working virtually 1 1/2 games. And I can still work JV/Freshman games, which pop in at $30 a game for an Umpire.

It may not sound much, but this is kind of an honor. I guess one of the higher-ups likes me so much I went straight to a Varsity crew. The money is not going to pay for college, just my minor expenses

I liked Will Smith's stuff it had a good beat and was catchy.

I'm not a huge fan of Lil Wayne, but his older stuff is really good. Now it's terrible. Right now i'm a huge fan of Eminem(uses profanity but not overly using it and fits in with the flow of his songs) and Lupe is getting up.

              Multitude of reasons

Were it not for my appearance on a local preview show, IDK if I would have gotten a offer anywhere, my school gets no exposure and plays in the toughest division in 5A Louisiana. But the a guy from Mississippi College saw it because he was looking at scholarship to the teammate that was also on the show (and the other two guests on the show too, twin Guard/Centers). He offered me a solid chance at a walk-on role, but it's a private school and expensive. That's where is starts piling on. They do not have a Mass Communications program and it is not too far from home, but it is just out of my comfort zone for a "maybe". Not only that, I still can't sleep on my left shoulder without waking up in pain/discomfort and it's only a matter of time before my knees go too.

So it was just time to hang it up and move on.

Check out any opportunities to ref for the local city leagues where you're going to school. I did that my junior and senior years of college during the week (since I barely had class) and made $60 per game. I ref'd for city league flag football, soccer, and softball. The only bad part was the guys were really intense and argued over everything, but I got to throw a couple of people out which was awesome and the money was definitely worth it

I'm fairly sure Hammond, Louisiana, a town known for it's strawberries rather than it's school, does not have a city league.

Hammond is a rural college town as it gets.

Im right there with you. I got recruited to walk on to St. Lawrence upstate with no financial aid. And I figured my knees were gonna blow any second. So I took an Academic Scholly to SU. My knees have never felt better. Thought about walking on at SU, but then I was like **** that.

My right knee feels like there is an air bubble underneath it and if I were to hyper extend it everything would feel great again. Anyone ever felt something similar?

Does anyone remember the article about voice technology from a few months ago, maybe a year? I think it was used to help Roger Ebert and it was suggested that it could be put in sports video games for dynamic commentary without scripts.

I was thinking how cool it would be to use the technology for a game like Madden, where you could have Howard Cosell as your play by play, and even put Madden himself back in.

I hate NBA 2K11, I always lose and it's pissing me off. I try to play well, doing plays, trying to use advantage of my players strength, don't cheat but I can't win. I play Pro with or without sliders, 5 to 12 minute quarters, clutch option on and off but I always lose even though I have good first(s) quarters. This game put me in a bad mood that I talk bad to people, punch and slam doors, have rage attacks, etc. I'll try to not playing it again and wait for 2K12 to know if I can change my luck.
