So I went to the batting cages today for the first time in about a year. It was great actually. I was hitting pretty damn well, and then I got big headed and decided to swing out of my shoes. Well as you can guess it did not go well, I completely missed and down went my shoulder. I've been dealing with a nagging left shoulder for about a month or so now, and caught up in the moment I just completely ignored that and hurt it really bad. I think it's gonna be a couple weeks before I can work out my upper body.
After that, I just turned around and batted left handed. Like a boss. I've been missing out my whole life. I should've been a left handed pull hitter. I've never swung a bat left handed until today, I think I fell in love. It felt pretty weird at first but I picked it up very quickly. I'm not exaggerating when I say this though, they could have the whole defense play on the right side of the infield and they would never have to worry about me getting a hit lol.
I also fouled a few off of my shins and feet. Weird, I know, but it felt good to do that again. I gotta make a thing of going to the cages every week again, and not tearing my shoulder off of my body.
