Having a conversation with my room mate about getting more exercise. He says, "I want to get a treadmill." To which I reply, "It doesn't count if you roll your wheelchair up onto it." Now he's telling me to go various TOS violations myself and such.

I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: Off Topic 2011
My fiance gave me some ideas for her birthday on etsy. For each one, I went ahead and bought it, and complained to her that someone got it before I could get it.
She is buying it. I am amazing. Her birthday is going to kick *** for her.
A consequence of this: she is convinced that tonight is not her night and she's getting frustrated about that. I think this is an acceptable consequence, considering that I'm going to get amazing sex on her birthday for having the gifts she thought she was never going to get.

I just don't get why they couldn't air the real top gear instead. Why we need to americanize everything I will never know. I mean if it's already greatly successful in it's original form, why mess with it? It's like producers never contemplate "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".-Ohio State-

I'm pretty sure BBC America both has the rights to and airs the original Top Gear.I just don't get why they couldn't air the real top gear instead. True, but it's not like it they couldn't have acquired the rights to air it, right? Some shows do run on multiple on multiple networks. It's just that if they're using the name "Top Gear" their has to be licensing involved already, and you'd think it would've been cheaper than producing an entirely new series. I really don't know how a lot of this licensing stuff works though.
Still, Me thinks it was done because they wanted to gear it more towards an American audience is all, even though the original Top Gear is brilliant.
edit, just checked and BBC is actually a producer of the American version, so i think that has to be it.Last edited by dan_457; 08-21-2011, 02:09 AM.-Ohio State-
