Re: Off Topic 2011
I could easily live there if I wanted to, once considered it pretty hard, but after being there a dozens of times, they are not my type of people. They remind me of the time when I lived downtown Chicago. People were fake there too.
All they care about is themselves. Kind of like everybody is always trying to impress people there ALL THE TIME. They don't know how to let loose and just be themselves.Comment

I couldn't live in a huge city like that, I'd have to live in a small-medium sized city where i can actually drive my car to places if i wanted to lolSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Because unless you love the club scene, it is not worth living there. People are fake, there is no sense of community at all, women are gold diggers to the 1,000th degree. Then on top of that everything is extremely over priced.

And there are fake people everywhere. Even in a town of 23 people in Vermont...Comment

S happy the Giants game didnt get marked off of ESPN here. I would have had to watch ESPN broadcast on a local network with random terrible telecasters from NJ... Bullet dodged.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
It is not the major city that is the problem it is certain area where the rich tend to live is the problem. And you asked about Manhattan.....
Even going to the store, people are trying to impress people. I could see at the club setting, but why try to stunt at a grocery store or gas station.
NYC itself I don't have a problem with, my wife's brother wife is from the Bronx and hell she still have a house in the Bronx along with the house they own in Vermont.
Matter of fact you have a lot of people who live in Vermont also have a secondary house in NYC because they work in NYC on Wall Street.Comment

You guys were spoiled. I never got a trapper keeper, or even a lunch box. Every day i had a hand-me-down backpack with a brown bag containing a crushed pb&j sandwich, a pudding cup or dunkaroo or w/e kinda tiny snack was around the house, and a 6 oz juice box. Plus 1 notebook that was expected to last all year, and 500 school books. I was lucky to find a pencil, and it was a glorious day if it had an eraser.
My parents weren't even poor, my mom was just really ****ing cheap.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

I hear you. I guess I dont hang around rich folk enough to notice, at least Manhattan ones. Im good in BK.
Gas station stunting? Never witnessed this in my life. I did have a kid in highschool who's dad would pick him up everyday in a Lamborghini. That freshman kid hated it. But you could tell his dad was having a blast ****ting on 16 year old kids. #grandpastuntingComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
I never got lunch made for me, for the majority of school I got free or reduced lunch. That was fine until High School when they served other stuff like Papa Johns and I was sick of school food, luckily I had some nice friends and eventually started to get money for food from my parents. However they had these really good chicken patty sandwiches that counted as my free lunch so i'd get that a lot to eat or sell/trade.
Oh yeah I was lunch room crack dealer lmaoSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
