Re: Off Topic 2011
Because they're bringing it as their "offering" to the gathering that everyone's coming to and bringing other stuff to.
If I said "Oh no man, go ahead and take the beer back, I won't drink it" and they take it back, its one thing, but if they do it on their own then that's....well....thats BS.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Like....I don't get it when things like this happen. How is that POSSIBLE? How in the blue hell does someone, especially someone in her 20s, not know who did Billie Jean? Like, where are these people living? What do they DO? What do they DO with their time? It's unfathomable.
I asked a chick I was talking to last month if she wanted to go to the Orange County Fair, and she asked me what a fair was?! How is it possible for someone to be intelligent, articulate, and attending UCLA to not know what a fair is? How is it possible for ANYONE to not know what a fair was? Even if you've never been to one, have you like, never seen any movies or TV shows or hell, even random NEWS reports from fairs? What?!
Un-believable.

The only thing that is comparable to that is the time my ex-girlfriend didn't know who James Brown was when he died. That I can understand moreso than not knowing who the King of Pop is, however.

Nope. She said she had heard it before but couldn't remember who was singing it.
This is what one of my friends told me:
That's when you find an excuse to excuse yourself. Any girl who is that dumb when it comes to music, isn't worth talking to or being around.lolLast edited by Fresh Tendrils; 08-24-2011, 08:33 PM.

Re: Off Topic 2011
I have certain standards, and I most certainly would lose interest in/break up with a chick over something as "petty" as that. Not necessarily because of that, but because it reflects a bigger problem.
Not knowing that Michael Jackson, arguably the most famous musician of all-time, made that song is simply inexcusable.Comment

All 12 of the mosquito bites on my legs I apparently got yesterday at the driving range just started itching all at once. Why suddenly now?Comment

If I lost interest/broke up with a girl because they didn't know something like that, I'd start to think I was the one with the problemComment

On another note, the California pitcher just tripped a Montana runner who bunted. It was pretty obvious that it was on purpose. Kid should've been ejected, it was ugly.Comment
