I took two years of German and that was only two years ago and I don't even remember half of it. I'm sure if I took another German class it would come back to me.

I took two years of German and that was only two years ago and I don't even remember half of it. I'm sure if I took another German class it would come back to me.

I took two years of German in HS (96-98), and don't remember any of it other than "du bist blöd."

I was Watching "Simon and Garfunkel - Songs of America" last week, and there was this guy that I thought was Paul Simon. I thought Simon was looking weird, wasn't sure what was going on. Then I realized it's a guy who looks like Paul, but it's not him (otherwise, Paul would be the world fastest cloth-changer ever). And just a minute ago I read that it was actually Paul's brother, Eddie. Wow, he looks so much like Paul, yet he's like a weird version of him.

Is French a required course in Canadian schools?

It's mandatory up til the end of the 2nd year of High School.

At least it was when I went through the system. Luckily for me because of my hearing loss and difficulty at picking up the words and such I had an exemption.


Anywho, had a birthday dinner with my mother and one of her workmates this afternoon. The place I ordered my food from (some place in the food court) put my dish in the smallest bowl ever and I had to actually HAGGLE with the vendor to get a bigger dish so I could actually eat what I ordered!
