 Re: Off Topic 2011

This happens to me sometimes as well. It hasn't happened in a while though as i've been reading through a comic book blog lately.I don't know why this happens, but every now and then I get super addicted to Wikipedia and spend like 3 hours reading about ridiculous ****. I started tonight reading about MLK (which wasn't ridiculous), then that somehow got me to Area 51, and now I'm reading about Jonestown (which is SERIOUSLY bumming me out).

 Re: Off Topic 2011

So, after deciding to visit the Pro Football forums, I have learned that the Patriots are now cursed (despite four Superbowl appearances and three Superbowl wins in the past 10 years) and an NFL team literally cannot win without a mobile QB anymore (despite not a SINGLE mobile qb winning a Superbowl since 2000).

Oh, and I also learned why I stay out of the Pro Football Forum.

The level of conversation in that subforum only gets that bad when "crazy" things happen and people overreact like their house is burning.

Funny, I don't go there much anymore and didn't know why. Last night I beat #3 tOSU @ The Shoe (I was #4 Mizzou) 51-45 in OT. The simmed Mizzou defense came in at about 60th, while the tOSU D was ranked like 4 or 5. I was pumped. The following week, my Heisman Hopeful QB broke his wrist vs. NWestern. But my other Heisman candiate WR caught 275-ish yard and 4 TD's in 59-0 rout.Just finished my Neb vs OU game, it went to 5 OT's, final score OU 84 - Neb 76, I lost the game by throwing a stupid pick with my backup QB. Worst defenses definitively, I've ever seen in a game, Neb 752 yards, OU - 660 yards, OU only had 11 first downs, and had the ball for only 6:38. Every time they scored was on a big play. All in All a really great game, funny thing is that it's only 7th in the ESPN instant classics ranking, feel's like it should be way higher.

Mike Leach and Malzahn can EAD, I'm the best ****ing OC there is.

Can't wait till Friday. I'm off, kids are in school and wife at work. I'll be vegetating all day (after some early morning yard work).Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Off Topic 2011

You know, my IE8 used to work the same way until I got some sort of virus from OS last year. After I took it to my graduate schools IT department to get fixed, it doesn't anymore. Now a new tab just asks me if I want to reopen a closed tab and I can't figure out how to get the old way back.

How do they define mobile? I would say Ben Roethlisberger is mobile to an extent and he's won 2 SB's.So, after deciding to visit the Pro Football forums, I have learned that the Patriots are now cursed (despite four Superbowl appearances and three Superbowl wins in the past 10 years) and an NFL team literally cannot win without a mobile QB anymore (despite not a SINGLE mobile qb winning a Superbowl since 2000).
