You mean you pick up on 30% of my references. My posts are like EDSBS. if you can't pick up on references, then you will more than likely think i'm a babling idiot.

Numbers Never Lie was 30 minutes hosted by Charissa Thompson. Mathew Berry, Michael Smith, and Herm Edwards were debating sports topics and each new topic required them to have a key number to use for their argument. I figure it will be a rotating panel so probly not stuck with Herm every day. It was a little gimmicky but not terrible overall.

Dan Le Batard is Highly Questionable was also 30 mins and basically just him and his dad in a kitchen-looking setting, just kinda sitting there talking sports. His dad would pose some questions in a cool latin accent and Dan would talk to him or the camera, an off camera producer would also ask follow up questions. It seems to be a long recording effort spliced into a show. Seems to be more on the comical side, too. The interview was with Jason Taylor and was spliced together in the same manner. Sort of like what Mo was saying, it seems almost like an internet sketch show, but I dug it.

Sounds interesting. I was looking at the TSN2 schedule and they'll have BOTH shows starting tomorrow (it got bumped off by the US Open) so i'll check them out.

So it's been a little over a week since I got the "We need to talk" text. After a week of back and forth, we've decided on a break, though I don't want to call it a break because I don't do/like breaks. But damn it, it's a ****ing break.

We're both not looking for anyone else, so that's good. I'm not really worried about her finding someone else and saying "Oh well I'm on a break so it's not like I'm cheating," but there's still the possibility that creeps into my mind. I'd lose it if I found out someone else was nailing my girl... she's been my only and likewise for me to her. Don't want that image in my mind, ever.

I'm trying. I've taken a manager position at the store (about a $2/hour pay increase) to show I'm making steps towards being more responsible. Been looking at cars to purchase so I can get to school in the spring. I wish she wouldn't listen to everyone else's advice on our relationship... no one else in the world knows me like she does, so to have others pass judgement on me and our relationship just rips me up. And stupid, immature decisions (quitting a job I didn't like when I was 18-19) I made 2-3 years ago are apparently coming back to haunt me and thrown in my face. There's nothing I can do about it but it still hurts.

Just gonna keep on making progress and hope she sees that I can be the man she knows that I can be. It's kinda disheartening because I've got to just think about myself and work on myself and it lends itself to a "Well, I don't need anyone else" mentality, and while I've always felt like if **** hit the fan I'd be able to survive, but... I want her in my life, as my girlfriend or fiance'.

Plain and simple breaks suck. No way around it. If she's really "the one" then I guess it won't matter in the end, but usually a break is a flashing, neon sign of bad things. On the surface breaks don't make any sense to me. Relationships are about two people and really "taking time apart" doesn't solve or prevent anything from happening that was bound to happen. I understand why I needed to go through one and why I felt like it was something that I could grasp to, but the truth is its just the beginning of an end. Even if you two reconcile, chances are it won't be close to being the same and that is what is going to bug the living hell out of you.

Not to the bad-news guy as I'm just talking from my experiences.

As someone who works out, the best natural supplements you can buy in my opinion, is anabolic steroids. You're going to put on weight, gain strength, and look great. I'd also recommend drinking your weight in creatine every day along with 12 glasses of protein every 3 hours.

This. Time apart is not how you solve problems in a relationship. They're solved by communicating and being honest. I've done the break as well, for almost a month, and when we got back together everything was weird. It was her decision to take some time off, and I held that against her once we got back together. I broke up with her after a couple more months, because neither of us had changed and if it didn't work out before, it wasn't going to the 2nd time.

Follow up on that moment of silence leading to the delay of game. It was a case of the refs taking the rules too seriously. The clocks count down before the game, once it reaches zero, the teams have to take the field. Instead of using their own authority, which they can, the refs decided to be dicks like they always are up here. Seriously, we have the dumbest governing bodies for high school sports.
