I now must see a College Gameday piece involving my cousin and Jay Bilas going back and forth with Young Jeezy lyrics. It's just too perfect.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: Off Topic 2011
So, my step sister goes on fb and posts about how she hates having to live at home with her parents, but still have to pay for her own gas, car, phone, food, and clothes.
I had to call her out on it. They bought her car for her (mustang gt) and she's wrecked it three times. She's lucky my dad replaced the front bumper, hood, and both fenders for her.
They've handed her gas money since she turned 16 and the only reason they don't help her with it anymore, is because they know she spends most of her time running the roads and making useless trips to different places.
I used to live with them, so I know they buy ridiculous amounts of groceries. She's just bitching about having to pay for her fast food.
I've bought my own clothes since I was 18, too. I may get the occasional pair of shorts or a shirt if my parents find a good deal on something somewhere, but I buy almost all of my clothes, shoes, etc. Part of it is also because she smokes cigarettes and is only 18 and my parents told her they couldn't stop her from smoking them, but they wanted her to quit and she wouldn't..She's always been a spoiled little brat, and it's just now showing.
She could move out and pay for rent, power, water, trash, internet, etc..Comment

I'm 22 and parents live with me. Well, because they are forced to. Dad is disabled and my mom takes care of him. I do my part, financially.Comment

In other news I went to the audiologist to get new parts for my hearing aids and found out I'm eligible to get new aids and have to do a hearing test so i'll be going back on Nov. 1st. Hopefully the new aids will work better than these ones I currently have which has been giving me fits ever since I got em in Nov. '08.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I'm working a crappy job, don't have money in savings, live paycheck-to-paycheck, am going through **** with the first and only love of my life, but you know what? I'm living and breathing each day. How can I complain when there's people dying out there through no fault of their own and look at myself in the mirror everyday?
I try to bring a clear and open perspective to every aspect of my life. Hell, I'm finding some positives and "enjoying" the ride that's been my rollercoaster life the past week and a half. It sickens me to think people can have it infinitely better then I and still bitch about the latest bull**** drama in their life.
Glad to hear you have some perspective, though. Too bad it doesn't run in the family (well, she's your step-sister but you get the point).NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds
