I like Subway over JJs, my favorite for subs is Charlies (not sure if local or national) but it's expensive so generally I just make my own subs. (well to be honest I make wraps at home instead of subs (unless I splurge on some delicious cheesebread)).

Also, I'm starting to think Jaywalking is safer than following the signals. I get the "walk" symbol and still have to check multiple directions to make sure every car is paying attention, and they usually aren't. Even though I have the right of way, I have to keep my head on a swivel. Almost got run over today because a girl (of course) was making a left turn onto the road I was crossing, she didn't even look to make sure the road was clear and I had to run just to avoid get splattered. I guarantee that girl was driving along going "wow idiot look before you walk". At least when I jaywalk I only have to check 2 directions to know its clear.

whew!

Just finished burning a number of games. I've just gotten quite a bit of college football ranging from the '70s to a game just last year.

All in all it's about 15 or so games. I've also gotten myself a couple early '80s CFL. It'll be cool to watch Warren Moon in his CFL days

I'm also a little under the weather as I left my window open last night and it got chilly overnight so now i've got a runny nose ARGH

After putting up that achievement, I actually think In-N-Out could benefit off running a promotion where they have an "achievements checklist" of sorts. There could be one for what I just did, one for eating all of the secret menu items (not in one sitting, obviously), a small one for eating a 4x4, one for being the first customer of the day, etc. Tally them up in points, and when the promotion ends you can cash them in for some gift cards or something. Then there would be a "platinum" trophy for completing the rest of the checklist, worth many more points.

This would be great for something like In-N-Out, because they're a place that doesn't thrive off of advertising to make things happen. Like everything else, this would be entirely word-of-mouth. Only those who are interested in actually doing it, would even consider taking it. I know I would go for a few of the achievements, if not all of them (assuming they're not out of hand).

Saying Subway is better then JJ's, Quizno's, or Penn Station is heresy, to each their own though. I can't think of that last time I had Subway but it wasn't good.

Eh, In-N-Out doesn't need gimmicks.

No they don't need gimmicks but they do need to expand that damned franchise. I want a piping hot double double with cheese, fries and a chocolate shake now dammit.

They don't, but they have an entire online store of exactly that, IMO.

Besides, as I said, it would be like McDonald's Monopoly but without the media exposure. I just think it sounds like a cool little thing that would only work at a place like In-N-Out, where there's enough spread and fandom of it in the western region.

If not there, I'm just surprised that I haven't really seen somebody do this kind of thing similar to 360/PS3 achievements/trophies.

I guess Lenny's is just around the south. Its just like Subway but they give you a lot more for around the same price. I like Subway better than Lenny's, but not by much.

So I mentioned earlier today it was my last day at work and I was getting some stuff for going away. But I didn't mention that it was from a very good looking girl in another department. She got me a balloon, a huge cupcake, and even baked me cookies. Now that's what I call awesome. I wasn't sure if she was interested or not before today, but I'm pretty sure I just found out.

Yeah, I know what you mean. As I'm sure I've mentioned before, there's this crosswalk near my apartment building where I swear pedestrians are the only ones who can see the crosswalk and the 2 (one going each way) neon yellow pedestrian crossing signs. People only yield for pedestrians once in a blue moon.

Finally got a legit game in the regular lobby.

Improved my record to 4-0, with a win against this dude. He used Pittsburgh and I used Tampa Bay and I got the win 30-17. Forced two fumbles within the first two minutes of the game and jumped out to a 14-0 lead and was able to maintain it throughout the game.

I have a few friends from Cali and they swear by In-N-Out. I've never had it because I've never been out there, but I really want to try it. I'm going to Phoenix in a couple of weeks, so I'll have to find one.
