    Re: Off Topic 2011

HELLO GUYS: I'm looking for an awesome sports theme for my Tumblr account. Please help me out if you can. [I love baseball]

ALSO for my photographers: Should I be looking at Nikon or Canon for cameras?

I find the best time to get Mickey D's is noon time or between 5-7. Anytime else it's a gamble as to whether it'll come out good or not.

Just to elaborate a little bit, I was coming home from a friends house after playing a little Madden. Was on a 45 mph street, and the guy make a left turn in front of me when I was way too close to him. Hit the brakes, but couldn't get stopped in time and slammed right into his passenger side door. Some crunched car metal, a flying PS3, flying glasses, an airbag, some time with the cops, a quick ambulance check-up, and here I am.

Don't know what it is, but this is the third time I've had someone try and make a left turn in front of me and I've hit them. Maybe I need a big sign that says "DON'T TURN!" on the front of my car.

            Thanks .

Yeah, other than the bruise that I'm sure will get worse tomorrow, I'm not hurt, just sore. REALLY pissed off though.

It was a dude. An extremely drunk (like able to smell the alcohol from outside his car) 16-year-old. Or he looked 16 anyways. I guess he could be older, but he barely looked like he was legal to drive.

I'm actually pretty calm when I get in a wreck. This is the fourth time I've had one that was the other drivers fault, and each time I've been all "All you hurt dude? No? That's good to hear." My friend said the same thing you did when I called him. He asked me if I wanted him to kick the crap out of the kid.

Honestly, at this point I'm just thankful I didn't have my dogs with me. I almost took them, and if I had, they would have been in the back seat when it happened. Would have been some serious doggie injuries.

I just observed another "interesting" scenario in NCAA 12. There were 3 big ten teams at 11-1, UM ranked #2, WISC#3, and OSU#4. OSU lost the week before to UM 30-27, but stomped Wisconsin 48-17 earlier in the year for wiskys only loss, yet OSU get's left out of the big ten title game because Wisconsin's ranked higher. This game just makes me facepalm, the dev's can't even get the conference standings formula right.(unless they changed something this year to where winning a head to head means jack, then nvm)

Lmao, something even better just happened. UM loss to wisky, and the 1# team Miami lost. Which means OSU and Wisconsin Play in the NC.

Nah man, the anger I feel towards the drunk driver who hit me is unimaginable. And they didn't even have the balls to stay and own up to their mistake, they got out of there (and thankfully a god Samaritan caught them!).

Speaking of cars, going out in a few to check out a few and maybe put something down on my first car. Exciting times.

I know how you feel. Couple years ago driving home from school a woman pulled out of a parking lot driveway to make a left turn in front of me. I had enough time to say, "OH F-" before I hit her. And that's pretty much what I said. Didn't even get to finish the word.

Glad to hear you're relatively ok.

It's been a while since I posted here. I've been quite inconsistent on this thread for a month because of college, I'm returning almost everyday at home as early as 7 pm and I return very tired to post something here.

Overall this week wasn't good at all for me, there were some bad things that happened.

Last Saturday night my brothers and I went to my father's house to celebrate his commitment with her girlfriend. It was going to be a 40-people reunion with my brothers, dad, my granmother, dad's gf and sons (the oldest one invited his girlfriend), my aunt and her friend (our friend really), my uncle with his girlfriend and her sons, some of my dad's fiance's family, and the rest (25 more or less) were strangers to us.
At the beginning it was fine but then it became strange. The people (not counting my family or us) began singing and moving their hand akwardly pointing to the sky, then they talked about portals and stuff. We later realized that those people are the guys my dad meets at religious reunions, however that wasn't normal cristianity, it seemed like a sect or something similar. Later my dad's fiance's sons, my brothers and I had to go to the center of the meeting with my dad and her where both of them talked and did the commitment. It was nice, it was obvious my dad was nervious because he messed up his lines but he did ok. After that the group continued doing their bizarre things. While they were doing that we (brothers and I went to my dad's room, to be away from that and to play on our Xbox 360 (did I tell you I had one?). On the room there were the three of us, her's sons and the oldest son's girlfriend, two sons (boy and a girl) from her's sister and three little girls (from 8 to 12 years old) from the strangers. After a couple hours my family (minus dad, my brothers and my grandmother) left because they couldn't tolerate the mood of the meeting (it was more religious than other thing). We kept playing Fifa 11 for hours until my dad's fiance's sons left and then the rest of the people left.

On Sunday it was a disgrace. We were still on my dad's house having dinner almost ready to go home (I live with my mom) until the phone rang. It was mum calling because the alarm company (the one that we have at home) told her the alarm got activated. So we went there as quickly as possible and at first everything was normal from the outside. But then I got in and knew instantly that some thieves entered home. The alarm system was broken, papers from my mum's desk were scattered, my clothes were all in the floor and some thing were missing. The thieves robbed our PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, netbook, a PS3 videogame, 30 euros and a leather jacket. At first I was very pissed but after thinking for a couple of minutes I felt better because it could have been worse. My mum luckly wasn't at home because she spent the weekend in Argentina, her jewelry wasn't stolen and our PC was still at home. My most precious thing is our PC, not because of the pc itself, the games I had or some school files I have, but what mattered to me was all the memories I've of photos and videos of our family. I have photos of my family from 2003, so imagine how valuable this computer is for me. On top of that, I didn't backed my data before that so if the computer was stolen I would have lost most of my memories. Luckly that wasn't the case and I'm now uploading my videos on photos on the net (those files are private obviously) and I'll try to save copies on other computers.

Then on Wednesday I was going to take the photoshop exam that I've failed before. I was ready, I believed I knew enough to succssed and I practised before the exam. Unfortunately, one hour before the exam I realized I've forgotten to sign in to take the exam (I had until Tuesday to do it) and I could do it. I wasn't that angry (it was all to myself) but I was very sad and dissapointed. The problem was that (as I've mentioned before in this email) I'm coming home too late that sometimes I forgot to do things I need to do and I'm not used to sign in before an exam (I haven't done that before this year). Now I don't know what I'm going to do later because I've to take the exam on February but I don't know much about the system, so I don't know if this exam doesn't allow me to do other exams.

That sums up most of my week. I hope the following weeks are better. Next Friday I've to deliver I project I've to do and next week it's spring holiday but I don't have any free day to rest.
