Yeah, sounds like it. Weather is starting to change so they're looking for a place to hibernate. Probably an opening in the woodwork/brickwork surrounding the windo. Are you in a dorm or apartment? Tell the RA/RD/landlord or whoever about it and they can get someone to check it out.

Dorm room, top (fourth) floor of my building. I'm guessing the window is where they're coming from as they're all buzzing around it. Most seem to have flown off, but there's the one still trapped between the glass pane and the screen. I want to kill the bastard, but don't want to risk missing and angering him with a then open window.

I'm not sure I've seen a wasp this big before. I didn't even know they got this big. Largest I've seen in Milwaukee is around an inch long, this guy's about two inches (measured him while he was sitting on the glass). And there were ones outside that looked even bigger.

Last year, on the second day of class, I woke up to a Hercules Beetle (or a distant cousin of one) next to my pillow.


I havent slept since.

Ya I hate when bees come in but you dont know where they come from. One day I saw like 7 bees flying in my room. then i trapped them in the window.


That must be terrifying for one of those things to be next to you in the mourning

I had to do a "Teaching Speech" in my Public Speaking class senior year...

Ended up going with: "How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse." I got a 95 or something like that and the teacher's response was "Great speech but it was supposed to be about something a bit more practical and useful..."

Their food is pretty 'meh'. But that really isn't the draw of that place lol.


The one in Tuscaloosa though is ALWAYS packed out after 5 PM. We need another one built here.
