OT was dead last night. Guess I'll do some work since I have nothing to read.

There are many different styles of cole slaw. Asian (nuts and noodles with thin strips of cabbage and a pinch of soy and sesame oil with vinegar), Memphis (mustard, cider vinegar, green bell pepper, cabbage), North Carolina aka Red Slaw (Ketchup and hot sauce with the basics)

For me I use a simple US Style coleslaw for sides and sandwiches. It includes 7 basic ingredients you can make at home.

            Green Cabbage
            Carrots
            Mayo
            Distilled Vinegar
            Pepper
            Sugar
            Pineapple Juice

For the cabbage and carrots you can buy an easy Dole cole slaw mix at the store for cheap. I use the bagged stuff in a pinch either way is great, you don't sacrifice anything.

            For the sauce.

            2 cups mayo
            1/2 cup vinegar
            1 cup sugar
1/2 can pineapple juice [the little cans not the big ones they come in six packs I think] (mix the rest with some Rum and Ice and make a drink to enjoy while you wait for the coleslaw to settle.)
            a Dash of Black Pepper

Mix all the sauce ingredients together first. Taste the sauce and adjust to your liking looking for creamy consistency and sweet flavor.

Mix with diced cabbage and shredded carrots (or bagged stuff) till nicely coated. Do not over coat because as it sits the sauce will double. Just enough to get a nice coat on the salad.

Let sit for about 2 hours.

Eat as is or put on top of a nice Pulled Pork Sandwich.

Every game this week is a difference of a TD or less at the moment.

Tough week for Boston sports fans. Our only hope to save the weekend is John Lackey.

Oh, in that case prepare for those hopes to be dashed.

Does it matter more of how you fail or how you succeed?
