I so tired of seeing those copy and paste statuses on facebook. In theory it is a nice idea, but it would be more effective if they were actually personalized rather than a cheesy "Stupid cancer, most people want a new car, a job, the new ipad, they just want life.........." comment.
Seeing the same identical comment 25 times down a news feed is annoying, and lazy by the authors.

I am growing disillusioned with the plagerized messages I see on Facebook. I am keen on the notion, however, it would be better if each individual put their own touch on them instead of a trite "dumb disease, a large number of individuals desire an improved vehicle, employment, the latest piece of Apple technology, they simply desire immortality."
Reading a repetitious diatribe 25 times on the ticker is cantankerous, and shows a lack of gusto by the writers.Comment

I've texted my room mate letting him know my intentions of hijacking his PS3 until the 29th, poured a glass of JD, and I'm now eagerly awaiting the PSN store update.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

So my English TA to explain to us/remind us that Wikipedia is bad and don't use in a research paper told us this apparently true story. Thought i'd share since it was hilarious.
When our TA was in his freshman English class his teacher to show that Wikipedia was bad and anyone could edit it went on to OJ Simpson's Wiki Page and edited that he was a Murderer, Killed his wife, The jury decision was complete BS,etc.
He said that one kid all of a sudden got up and left, the teacher didn't really care/notice and everyone assumed he went to the bathroom or left cause he didn't read the chapter. The kid that was sitting next to the kid who walked out started flailing his arms around,etc to get the teacher's attention. Yeah apparently that kid who left, was OJ Simpson's son.
My TA said that his Teacher just immediately stopped with what she was doing, fell into her chair with a cold/blank stare on her face and then got yelled at by the Head of the Department in front of the class.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
